about KIM
I have an enduring love for all things voice.
Following the completion of my Master of Music degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, I spent many years on faculty there, teaching applied voice and directing their vocal jazz ensemble, All in Good Time. I later formed Omaha's first community vocal jazz ensemble, NExus, which performed frequently throughout the community, at festivals and for the NCAA Men's College World Series. I also spent several years as a Jazz at Lincoln Center-certified Teaching Artist for WeBop, an early-childhood jazz education curriculum created in partnership with Teachers College at Columbia University before discovering and falling in love with voice acting.
Still Omaha-based (the sunsets here are gorgeous!), I now work full-time as a voice actor and voice over talent for clients like Best Western and Logitech. And while I love connecting with clients locally and helping to meet the needs of neighbors in my community, I also have the ability to voice work in real time with national and international clients.
With a voice age ranging from teen to adult, I can provide voice overs for a wide variety of projects - from animation, TV & radio commercials, and paid placement campaigns for pre-roll and social media to non-broadcast projects like video narration, video games, eLearning, telephony, and more.

Having spent 17+ years in the voice business, I know my instrument, how to tell a story and how to get the job done. My goal is to ensure our collaboration is smooth and easy, with a fast turn-around and quality product for your project.

When not in my home studio, you can find me singing jazz, teaching the occasional voice or piano lesson, playing Carcassonne with my husband or chasing around our 2 rascally, wonderful kids.
